Unit of measure
Unit of measure
In business documents that are created from JSON metadata, the unit of measure (unitOfMeasure) in the document needs to be specified according to the standards UN/ECE Recommendation 20 and UN/ECE Recommendation 21.
The unitOfMeasure property in the metadata consists of two fields, unit and code.
The unit property can be used on its own with one of the following values:
OnePiecePackageKilogramMetreLitreSquareMetreCubicMetreKilometreTonneKiloWattHourHourDayMonthYearRec20Rec21
The values Rec20 and Rec21 refer to UN/ECE standardized code lists.
To expand the list of supported values, set the unit property to Rec20 or Rec21 and the code property to one of the allowed codes.
